Wellington-based Balkan band, Balkany, brings the sounds of Eastern Europe to you through a 7-piece band of vocals, clarinet, percussion, strings, bass, accordion and drums. Performing upbeat gypsy-style music to the venues and festivals of Wellington and New Zealand, they get the audiences moving and thriving to a mix of traditional and original melodies from Serbia, Macedonia, Hungary, Venezuela and beyond.
